When you contact Nexus Computing or ask for a quote, we may receive your name, phone number, email address, postcode or area, device details, the problem you describe, service requested, urgency, preferred contact method and messages you send us. For booked jobs we may also keep a private job reference, job updates and information needed to provide the service.

How we use it

We use this information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, arrange and provide services, communicate about jobs, keep appropriate business records, prevent misuse and meet legal or regulatory obligations where they apply.

Legal basis

Depending on the situation, processing is generally necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to perform a contract with you, to meet legal obligations, or for legitimate business interests such as responding to customers and operating the service. If we ever use information for optional marketing, we will handle that separately.

Google Analytics and cookies

With your permission, this website can use Google Analytics 4 to understand general website usage, such as which pages are visited and how people navigate the site. The analytics setup is configured to avoid sending repair job references in page URLs. The repair-status and admin pages are excluded from analytics.
